Al has a B.S. degree in Health Education from PSU with an emphasis on fitness promotion. He has been a Personal Trainer for over 15 years with at least half that time spent at SAC. His 35+ years of weight lifting experience grew from his extensive interest in sports and athletics - playing football, basketball, baseball and track.
These sports gave him a unique perspective and knowledge of the exercises required to completely develop the body. Al believes in a holistic approach to fitness, emphasizing flexibility along with strength and proper form.
He’s been a group fitness instructor for over seven years, is certified in Spinning, yoga and Hope Pilates. Al also conducts fitness camps on an ongoing basis. His clients include people of all fitness levels, both men and women. Al’s training allows individuals of all ages to maintain their strength, balance, flexibility and coordination.
