Farrah Connelly

Farrah Connelly met her own personal fitness goal loosing 60 pounds and maintaining her goal weight for over five years. She understands the hard work, discipline and commitment it takes to achieve success. When teaming up with Farrah, you team up with a partner who has the proper tools to guide you in being successful with your own personal fitness goal!

Farrah's interests and accomplishments include walking in the Avon walk for Breast Cancer, snowboarding, Strength training, running the Las Vegas half marathon and hiking. Farrah is certified through American Fitness Professionals and Associates (AFPA)



Bruce Farmer

Bruce Farmer MD, cPT (ACSM) brings his expertise as a general medical practitioner (now retired) and certified personal trainer with the American College of Sports Medicine to help Sunset Athletic Club members achieve their optimum fitness and health. He provides weight management and nutritional counseling and instruction in reversing the effects of aging and debilitation from chronic joint and muscle pain. He is a graduate of Sunset High School (1970), Portland State University (BSc, 1977), Oregon Health & Sciences University (MD, 1983), Director and Clinic Manager of the Scappoose Family Medical Center (1994-1997), Western Seminary (MA, 1999), Associate Professor of Science & Theology, Life Pacific College (2000-2003), and certified Personal Trainer [cPT (ACSM), 2006]. He is a writer and lifelong Northwest mountaineer, skier, and outdoor enthusiast.


Al Granville

Al has been a Personal Trainer at Sunset Athletic Club since 1999. He has a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Portland State University. Al enjoys working with all types of individuals with a variety of needs and goals. He has a strong background in geriatrics, understanding and prescribing exercises to maintain balance, muscular strength and overall physical and mental vitality as we age. he has also taught a variety of classes, from stretching to cardio step. Al also works with kids and is very involved with the Junior Weight Room program at Sunset Athletic Club. Al is interested in hepling you get to the next level!



Eleni Kehagiaras

Eleni Kehagiaras is a dedicated partner with a proven track record of helping her clients achieve their goals. Energetic and enthusiastic, she has over 10 years experience in the fitness industry and holds numerous certifications. Combining the latest in both physical and mental training methods, Eleni's holistic approach provides her clients with a solid foundation for long term success. Eleni offers private cycling sessions specializing in Heart Rate Training and Periodization Programs, as well as private Aquatic Exercise Training for those in recovery or reintroducing themselves to exercise. From weight loss to advanced sport specific training, everyone is welcome! Her motto says it all…" Teamwork divides the task and multiplies the success"

Zane Kelly

Zane is a NSCA certified personal trainer. Considered the gold standard in personal training and has been training since 2000. Zane also holds a Bosu, Pilates and Stretch Certification. Specializing in sport specific training he is bring his F.A.A.S.T class to Sunset Athletic Club. F.A.A.S.T is a speed and agility class geared towards athletes. Zanes focus on working with athletes is to make athletes as strong as they are big. A problem we see today is that athletes spend too much time doing traditional lifts that will not help them on the field of play. Zane works not only with athletes, but with anyone committed to achieving their goals.




Robert McDonell

Robert is an ACE certified trainer with over 1,200 client training hours logged. He has been involved in fitness for most of his life, having attended Westview highschool and actively participating in a variety of extra-curricular activities including football, track, and wrestling. Robert lives an active lifestyle and enjoys spending his free time in the outdoors. He has worked with a wide variety of client needs ranging from strengthening ones lower back, to preparing an athlete to perform at his or her maximal potential. The majority of his clients are striving to change their body compositions. Robert believes this is possible through an effective exercise program, the proper diet plan, and lifestyle monitoring. The one aspect all of Robert's clients share in common is their determination to accomplish their fitness goals.



Joni Neilson

Joni Neilson has been a certified personal trainer for the past 7 years. She specializes in weight management, strength and conditioning, sports performance, and nutrition for athletes and healthy living. Joni is a former high school volleyball coach for American High School in Fremont, California and Water Safety Instructor. Joni loves working out with weights and doing cardio. She spends time doing recreational activities in the outdoors, such as; hiking, mountain biking, water skiing, etc... Joni also participates in local races; Beaver Freezer triathlon, Race for the Roses, Hood to Coast, Shamrock Run, and the Portland Marathon. She enjoy




Cindy Pinkard

Cindy Pinkard has many certifications as a Personal Trainer to her credit, including certifications from The National Academy of Sports Medicine. Cindy calls on her experience as a certified Group Fitness Instructor to motivate and support her clients to attain their goals. She finds the personal connection and commitment with her clients are keys to the success her clients experience. A healthy lifestyle is the ultimate goal and Cindy gives her clients the tools needed to accomplish it!





Jane Richardson

Jane Richardson graduated from BYU Hawaii with a bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sports Science. For the past eleven years Jane has worked in the fitness industry as a Personal Trainer, Group Exercise Instructor, Group Exercise Master Trainer and Group Exercise Manager. Throughout her many years of experience, she has worked very hard maintaining her education and certifications in many different aspects of sports fitness. Jane is currently certified in the following: ACE Personal Trainer, AFAA Primary Aerobic, Turbo Kick Box, Crush Kick Kickboxing, Body Pump, Rep Reebok, Reebok Core Board, Precision Cycle and Stability Ball.

She works hard to help her clients meet and exceed their fitness goals. Her style of training emphasizes the importance of flexibility, strength and cardiovascular fitness. Her expertise consists of weight loss and muscle toning, helping clients improve their quality of life. Their goals are achieved through Jane’s experience, innovative workouts and personal attention towards each client.

Jamie Sanne

Jamie Sanne has been a certified Personal Trainer for 6 years, with a degree in Exercise Science from Seattle Pacific University. He is energetic and fun, blending his education with his creativity to form systematic and progressive fitness strategies unique to each individual. Jamie prefers to utilize a variety of fitness tools including medicine balls, cables, free-weights, stability balls, and BOSUs to help his clients reach optimal levels of fitness and health. He finds his greatest fulfillment when his clients have made exercise a permanent part of their lifestyles. Jamie is also a Licensed Massage Therapist, focusing on Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, and Myofascial Therapy. His multi-dimensional approach to fitness and massage therapy makes him a valuable resource, granting him deeper perspective into his clients' needs and goals.
