Sunset Athletic Club has a 20 meter, 4 lane outdoor pool surrounded by decks and a grassy area to sunbathe and socialize with friends. The pool is heated and open from Memorial Day to Labor Day. The pool has lifeguards for your convenience from mid-June to the end of August. Our summer Aquatics programs include a 100 member swim team that practices daily. They have meets scheduled with other swim teams around the area on a regular basis.

Our new expansion will inlcude a new indoor Aquatics Center to compliment our outdoor recreation area. At that time we will have year-round programming. Visit our expansion link to view the proposed Aquatics Center.

SWIM TEAM 2007:

Meets on select Saturdays between June and August. The first practice will be mid to late June and the season will extend to mid-August. Exact date is TBA. The practices will be held at:

  • 8:00AM - 9:00AM
  • 9:00AM - 10:00AM
  • 10:00AM - 11:00AM
  • 11:00AM - 12:00PM.

Swimmers are required to attend one practice per day. Swim team is a commitment and it is strongly encouraged that swimmers attend all practices and meets when they are in town. If there are other commitments (ie. vacations, summer camps, etc.) a one week prior notice is appreciated.

There will be a parent meeting prior to the first practice, date to be announced at a later time.
